Recently, our Mankun colleagues have been doing more and more with AI.
From processing spreadsheets and organizing materials to drafting proposals and designing posters, AI has gradually become part of everyone's daily work. Different roles use it in different ways, and colleagues often exchange notes on the new tools and techniques they have discovered.
On the afternoon of November 3,Lawyer Lü Yinghui of Mankun Law Firm's Shenzhen office brought a skill he had recently been studying to an internal sharing session: "How to Use AI to Produce Short Videos."The session also drew a good number of colleagues, who listened as Lawyer Lü walked through the production process and discussed the problems they encountered in practice.

For a short video of about 10 minutes, from script and voiceover to visuals, subtitles and editing, what steps are involved, and which parts can be handed over to AI?Drawing on his own production experience, Lawyer Lü broke the process down step by step. He explained how to use tools such as Claude Code, Codex and MiniMax to adjust scripts, generate AI voiceovers, produce subtitles and create storyboard images. Under the method he currently uses, producing a short video of about 10 minutes takes roughly one hour in total.Efficiency has improved, but human judgment still matters.Whether the material is appropriate, whether the visuals transition naturally, and whether the subtitles match the voiceover all require careful checking and adjustment. Lawyer Lü also shared tool combinations, production costs and common problems, and discussed questions from colleagues about actual use.
Of course, AI is not omnipotent. The selection of material, the transitions between visuals, and the matching of subtitles and sound effects still require manual adjustment.AI handles efficiency; people decide the quality of the content.

This sharing session gave everyone a more intuitive understanding of the AI short-video production process and brought back some new methods that can be tried in their work.
Such exchanges are not uncommon at Mankun Law Firm. Experience in legal practice, small tips for improving efficiency, and newly researched tools and methods can all become topics for a sharing session.
Experience gained through one person's exploration can, through exchange, help other colleagues avoid some detours. This is also the meaning of internal sharing at Mankun Law Firm:Everyone continues to accumulate experience in the fields they are familiar with, and is also willing to bring the gains from practice to the team.
From professional knowledge to working methods, there are still many topics worth discussing. We look forward to hearing more new discoveries from Mankun Law Firm colleagues next time.
